Such a lovely woman to begin with, it was difficult to improve upon Bonnie. But with the help of Sarah Remer and Audrey Mullenmaster at reVamp! salon spa in Minneapolis, I think we helped make Bonnie feel “Younger Than Springtime.”
MAKEOVER! Pretty Again.
Judy’s mother had passed away only two weeks earlier. After spending a year and a half tending to both her aging parents she needed a boost. Kelly Marciniak and I decided more depth in color would be more flattering and Kami Kleven chose a neutral makeup color pallete. When eyes are deep set and show so much lid it’s difficult for me to keep my hands off so I added a little more boost for dramatic effect. She is very pretty.
Mark and I have known each other since the Catholic Kids moved from the Parochial School to the “Normal School” in second grade. Mark was the first to get hair on his chest in 7th grade and we were all jealous. We were room mates during college and have remained friends, though we never see each other any more.
Women aren’t alone, men too often need a boost to get our sexy back. Mark didn’t have far to reach during his to rediscover his. I’m still jealous.
Jane and Michelle drove from Wisconsin to reVamp! salonspa in Minneapolis for makeovers. Jane wasn’t sure how to exactly bring out who she is inside, but with a little help from Christopher Hopkins, The Makeover Guy, Audrey Mullenmaster who refreshed the haircolor, Kami Kleven who designed the makeup and Joann Hopkins who helped define her ideal wardrobe choices she left quite pleased. She “dragged along” her friend Michelle who was cut and styled by Carrie Eichers and who had her makeup done by Kami Kleven.

A year after delivering twins and at the cusp of her 40th birthday, this beautiful woman discovers that change IS good, and that though nervous she ready!
Kami Klevin at the top of her craft created the makeup design, and top stylist in the Twin Cities, Betsy Mullenmaster created the beautifully saturated color.
Following a tragic stroke that had left her husband unable to care for himself, Barb came to reVamp! salonspa looking for an uplift. I had already cut the back of the hair when into her story we decided it should be put on camera. WHAT A LIFT! She changed her mind at the last minute so we added a semi permanent color so when we get her back we can lift the color with tint, gentle highlights and a slightly warmer base. The power of pretty is truly effective here.
This compilation of some of our favorite makeovers helps us express our mission: “To inspire beauty and enrich lives in a spirit of friendliness, professionalism, and joy.” It’s not difficult to see the power of pretty through the lens of the great artists at reVamp! salonspa in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota.

Ann basically lived in a baseball hat and a ponytail. She decided it was time to cut her long curly hair into something she could manage without the hat. Her color was not really far off, and she had very curly hair that lacked curl in the front. We chose to wave it off her face and give a more stacked appearance to her profile for lift.
