I am 67 AND LET MY AUBURN HAIR GO GREY AND WHITE. THE BACK IS A BEAUTIFUL GREY BUT FRONT MORE WHITE. MY FAMILY THINKS I LOOK OLD AND THEY DON'T SAY ANYTHING ENCOURAGING ME TO TO LEAVE IT THIS WAY. MY HUSBAND LIKES IT AND I THINK I SHOULD PLEASE HIM AND NOT THE REST OF THE GANG. I LIKE ME AND I KEEP MY HAIR STYLISH AND I AM OK. dO YOU THINK I SHOULD GO GREY IN THE FRONT?

Thank you! I I just made my sister over (50) and I have to admit, I think she looks like she is 20 years younger...I exaggerate not. Such a great age...but so much constant tweaking!

Wonderful, very modern. I'm a big fan now. Can't wait to get your book, "Staging Your Comeback"...a graduation gift for myself at the age of 49. :)

Hi Catharine,

Sure we can talk! I can set you up with Anthony at New Londoner in Manhattan Beach, CA. He is the only stylist I know personally in that area (and he was the winner of Season One Sheer Genius).

Yes, for the online consultation it is 385 and we'll go back and forth with photos and I will make suggestions you can take or use with your own stylist.

The first place to start is the book! It step by step takes you through the process and helps answer many questions. Also, it's motivating.

If you are willing to post photos on this site, there is no charge and people can chime in to encourage, and see your "after" photo (that you will want to share of course!!)

Did that help?

I live in Pebble Beach, CA. I would like to do a complete make over.
If I work with you online do I get to speak to you at all or is it just
emails, etc? How would you go about helping me find a stylist?
Should I send you a picture? I have been disabled for 23 years and during that time exercise has been almost impossible. I am doing better now but need to lose 40 pounds. When I was younger and thinner I was considered beautiful. Now I would just like to feel good about myself instead of feeling embarrassed about the way I look. I
keep thinking what comes first? Thank you

Well, it definitely makes us look BETTER! Thank you for the compliments to Mom. We all need them, but more and more the grayer we get! Maybe just the same as always.

Your Mom is so beautiful! As someone else commented, before and after. And I think that although the "just right" hair color, wardrobe and makeup may not always make us look younger, it keeps us from looking older.

I agree with the 'tall apple' comment; I happen to be a size 8 from the waist down, size 12 (very broad shoulders & short neck) from the waist up; if I dress light top/dark bottom, I look ridiculously top-heavy. Also, I'm 5'10" tall, 145 lbs, short-waisted and with a boyish figure; I certainly don't need to look any taller, and skinny white denim jeans are just the thing to make me look not so much like a guy in drag. :-)
