This one started as a simple makeover clip. However, after discovering the song “Turning 40″ by Stewed Roots on the “In The Middle Of This” album I was reminded that every decade is a transition. I hope you enjoy. Thank you to team reVamp! including Robert Lindquist, Joann Hopkins and all the makeup and hair professionals that helped these lovely ladies look in the mirror and say “Now THAT’S me.”

Thanks, Christopher…brought tears of joy and recognition to my eyes. What a wonderful montage, an amazing tribute to your skills and talents. Just fabulous!
Love, love, love what you do-I’m turning 70-is there any hope for me?
There’s ALWAYS hope when we have makeup, hair and good shapewear!
Yeah…do you think you could do some 60 to 70 year old women?
Also, a friend (the principal at one of the school buildings in which I work – just to make things a little more complex), who is almost at her weight loss goal (probably about 100 lb. loss) asked me to help her pick “cute clothes” when she reaches her goal. I gave her your book to read as pre-shopping work. This task will not be easy because there are a lot of attitudinal obstacles in our way. I am trying to encourage, but not push. The main obstacles are : she thinks that too much attention to your looks is superficial, ” I want to look like ‘myself,’ not one of these images,” and the “I don’t have time’ excuse. Ideas?

If you go through these videos you’ll find several over 60!
She apparently did not read the section on blasting belief systems and exposing excuses.
It is simply taking pride in your appearance, and giving yourself the time, not taking time from yourself. Natural and naturally attractive are two completely different things after “a certain age.” Unless, of course, jowls, a mustache, wiry gray eyebrows and scraggly salt and pepper hair turn you on.
Also…tell her the Dean of Indiana School of Law flew in for a makeover and took copious notes as she realized if she wanted to stay in the game she better learn how to look her best. Intelligence only takes you so far…Look at Poor Hilary. Couldn’t give a hoot about appearance but realizes it is imperative to help her achiever her goals.
You’re just awesome and wonderful and a one-of-a-kind! You do such a great thing for women~ XO
I LOVE this montage of great makeovers on wonderful, beautiful women!! Every woman has a story..an inner beauty and feeling of youth they want and need to see in the mirror…I think this was accomplished!!!
Great job, Christopher!
Okay, no, don’t become a film maker. Just keep doing what you do. The women of America need and want you. Really, thanks so much for this. It was very inspiring. You are truly an artist and just a really wonderful, wonderful person. I’m so glad I found you again.
Lots and lots of love,
Corn
I love watching your videos. As someone who will be turning 50 in November, I feel like every morning I have to do a “makeover” to be able to walk out the door – but a little effort is SO worth it – especially when I see the before/afters you do and how GORGEOUS regular ol’ women like me CAN be. thank you.
My mother calls it the daily Miracle on 36th Avenue (it has changed with each move).
Christopher and company–What a great job you do. I know I was so pleased at my makeover–You give all these women something so special! Great to know I can still look pretty darn good at 68!
I had your book(burned up in a fire), you became my hero then! This is a beautiful tribute to the beauty you see in every woman that we, ourselves, tend to forget! Thank you Christopher and the entire reVamp family!
my book burned up in a fire? I’m waiting to hear the story.
Okay Christopher… I’ve been watching and watching and celebrating you for a few years now by seeing your adorable-ness changing womans’ lives. This montage however had a huge WOW factor like non other.
**** clapping ****
You are an inspiring genius !

One day I WILL be in your chair.
I HOPE SO!
Thank you Christopher! Great Video. I have your book and have read it all. It was a great confirmation for things I was already doing and a reminder for some things that I wasn’t …….. You have great talent and I enjoy watching you work.
